Ivy Castle

This charming and ornate building, dating from the early 1900s, was once a chandlery and has moorings for small residential boats in the dock behind. In 1976 a 20 year lease from the Council was granted for 6/7 boats and The Ham Bridge proposal was shelved, as reported in the local press in the first week of 1975. However, land sufficient for a bridge is still owned by the council.
